Businesses in Public Service Delivery- myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about theBusinesses in Public Service Delivery for Healthcare. Answer: Introduction Public services are the services of the government to its citizens. The government usually has the obligation of providing public services to its function as a way of giving necessities to its citizens (Dewald, 2008). The public services are free, and no one has to pay anything to receive them. The public services include healthcare, security. The government itself cannot be able to supply the public services to its citizens. Thus, it needs the help of other organizations to help it in the service provision. An example of the organizations that can help the government in the provision of services is the business organizations. The business organizations are in a position of being reached by many people thus it can be so useful in the provision of public services. The government too should place restrictive measures to ensure that the business does not harm the people during the process of service delivery. Businesses in Public Services Delivery Companies should be used in public service delivery since they are much closer to the people. It is always easy to get access to business places. Thus the state can use them to provide the public services to its citizens. All the businesses aim to make profits. Therefore, the government should ensure that it gives them conducive environment to enable them to work well ("Private companies can provide a public service", 2018). This should always be a mutual benefit between the government and the businesses. The government can come up with incentives which can motivate the companies to provide the health-related services. The incentives can be based on the provision of excellent services to the public which will encourage the businesses even to have the psyche to deliver to the audience. Businesses should be used in the provision of public services since they are filled with specialized personnel. Most organizations are always filled with personnel to ensure that all the processes run as required. The health experts found in the private sector are still skilled enough since they operate with due care to safeguard their places in the market. They can be trusted with the products to be produced in the company. They usually design the right taste on the goods to ensure that they meet the standard health requirements. If the goods are harmful, they always must disclose that to ensure that no one gets harm. They still do this while making the profit generation mind with them. Provision of public services through the private sector is cost effective. The government should offer contracts to private industry on the provision of delicate services such as the health services ("Funding to grow rural businesses available", 2016). These contracts by the government will reduce the government of the cost of having provided the health services itself. The deals will also see the business organizations make plenty of profits. After the contracts have been given out, the government should ensure that it comes up with regulative measures to ensure that the private sectors do not take advantage of the deals and provide poor health services to the citizens. This is the reason why the state has legalized many private hospitals. The private hospitals have proved to be more equipped with modern technology than the public hospitals thus many people with the critical issues do prefer to go to the private hospitals. Researchers have proven that businesses have the highest consumer satisfaction score. This shows that companies are more effective in the provision of the public services (Hill, Brierley MacDougall, n.d.). Many people tend to trust the services delivered by the businesses according to the history of that business organization in that area. The companies can be used to provide quality health services to the people through; Awareness of health-related information- the businesses should ensure that they provide sufficient knowledge about the health conditions. The perception is important as it enables the consumers to know the pros and the cons associated with a particular good (Barry, 2012). The government also requires the businesses to disclose the health-related information so that its citizens cannot be harmed from consuming harmful products Regulating supply of harmful products-, the state should ensure that the businesses control on the production and supply of the toxic products. When people tend to consume plenty of sugary stuff in the market, the government should always act by imposing tax sugar ("What about all the other harmful products?", 2014). This will reduce the supply of sugar in the market thus the production of sugary goods like candy will reduce. This will be a regulative measure of the government on the health of its citizens. The government should always inform the companies on this to ensure that the companies do not make losses due to the imposed taxes. Proper branding- the businesses always brand their commodities with covers exposing all the nutrients contained in the foodstuffs they produce. The government should trust the business organizations with its citizens due to the significant motive the businesses have to its citizens (Nandagopal R, 2015). Complete disclosure will always help the local consumers to know all the ingredients contained in the foodstuffs. Thus, they can choose whether to buy them or not. Research by businesses the companies usually researches their goods in the market before releasing them to the public. This is so important to the health of the people (Mouzas, 2006). The research is always an attempt to ensure that the businesses offer quality to the public. This can be done while the company still makes profits. No business organization has ever complained of making losses due to the research of its goods on the consumers. Thus, the study is significant in ensuring the good health of the public. Businesses should be used in the provision of public services due to their Innovativeness in service delivery. The private sector is made up of very hard working individuals who are always profit oriented. Their creativity and innovativeness help in the provision of quality health services. They tend to make the people get the most modern treatments in case they are ailing (Medhekar, 2014). The government too usually help the private sector by providing them with the most conducive environment. The favorable environment and sound tax policies motivate the public sector to deliver quality services as they are also assured of making profits in the end To ensure that the businesses continue to make gains while still providing public services to the people. The government should always step in firmly and ensure that it allows for enough incentives to the public sector (LLP, 2018). The incentives are still the motivating factor that helps the private sector to assist the government in the provision of the public services. The incentives also enable the companies to generate profits (Roland Dudley, 2015). No company can accept conducting a business where it does not experience any gains. There won't be any cases of losses by the private sector if the state comes in and provides them with enough incentives. Right tax policies can act as the incentives given to the private sector. Right tax policies enable the companies to supply plenty of goods to the public. The private sector can never indulge in illegal business if the government provides good terms to them. The government should also be careful when issuing contracts to the private sector. The state officials should never use favors when giving out the deals to ensure that quality is observed in the provision of public services (Mishory, 2013). When the right company is given the mandate to provide public services, it usually does its best. It usually ensures that it considers all the consumer's requirements when providing the goods and services. The sales of these services always make the companies generate enough profits to keep them going. Public services such as health services are essential, and they should be trusted with well performing and reliable industries. In the case where contracts are given blindly, poor services will always be provided leading to the citizens being affected. Involving the public sector in public service delivery enables the government to diversify. The diversity allows for the government to perform its activities widely. When this business provides the services to the public, they act as government representatives. The government benefits from this since it is not required to provide the services to the citizens directly. The help of the private sector also enables the government to increase in the amounts of services it is to submit to the public. The government can increase the variety of services to be provided by allocating different services to different companies. The government does this since businesses are so many and are easy to access by the public. Thus getting public services from them is much easy. Conclusion. It is evident that businesses are so important in helping with the provision of public services. Business companies are widespread thus readily accessible to the public. This gives them the advantage when it comes to the provision of public services. They act as government representatives to the public. It is always the responsibility of the government to ensure that quality goods and services are provided to the public thus they impose regulative measures to the private sector to ensure that quality is maintained. It is also evident that the incentives offered by the government motivate the private sector in providing the public services since it helps the businesses to continue making profits in their performance.
